Welcome to Allam School. By accessing or using our AI-powered exam tutoring platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including students, parents, and educators.

2. Description of Service

Allam School provides an AI-powered tutoring platform designed to help students prepare for international examinations including IB Diploma, GCSE/IGCSE, A-Levels, and AP exams. Our Service includes:

• Access to exam-style and past-paper-style practice questions
• AI-powered feedback and markscheme-based grading
• Digital pen writing recognition
• Progress tracking and grade prediction
• Parent dashboard for monitoring student progress

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

3.2 Age Requirements

Students under 18 years of age must have parental or guardian consent to use the Service. By creating an account for a minor, parents/guardians agree to these Terms on behalf of the minor.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Share exam questions or content outside the platform
• Attempt to reverse engineer or manipulate the AI system
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use automated systems to extract data from the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Platform Content

All content on the platform, including exam-style questions, AI feedback, study materials, and software, is the property of Allam School or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

5.2 User Content

You retain ownership of any work you submit through the platform (e.g., written answers, handwritten solutions). By submitting content, you grant Allam School a license to use, analyze, and improve our AI systems for the purpose of providing and enhancing the Service.

6. Subscription and Payment

6.1 Free Trial

We may offer a free trial period. At the end of the trial, your account will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends.

6.2 Subscription Plans

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in our refund policy.

6.3 Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers (Stripe, Airwallex, PingPong). We do not store your complete credit card information.

6.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access until that date.

7. AI and Automated Systems

Our AI tutor ("Mr. Allam") provides automated feedback and guidance. While we strive for accuracy:

• AI feedback is for educational guidance and should not be considered as definitive grading
• Students should verify important information with official exam materials
• AI-generated grade predictions are estimates based on performance patterns
• We continuously improve our AI but cannot guarantee 100% accuracy

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

8.1 No Guarantee of Results

While our platform is designed to help students improve their exam performance, we cannot guarantee specific grades or outcomes. Academic success depends on many factors beyond our control.

8.2 Service "As Is"

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

8.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Allam School shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangibles, arising from your use of the Service.

9. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

10. Modifications to Service and Terms

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
